KJ wasn’t feeling well from the start of the morning. I gave him two Panadols around 6 AM, and after breakfast, he started feeling slightly better. After some rest at the hotel, he took another two Panadols around 9 AM. We stayed in the room until 9:30 AM before checking out and heading to the Dancing House, a stop we had missed the day before.
To reach the rooftop view of the Dancing House in Prague, you first enter through the modern, sleek lobby. The elevator, located near the entrance, takes you straight to the top floor. Once you step out, signs or staff will direct you to a short staircase leading to the rooftop.
As you climb, you’ll catch glimpses of the city through large windows. Upon reaching the rooftop terrace, you’re greeted with a stunning panoramic view of Prague. The Vltava River, Prague Castle, and the National Theatre are all visible, showcasing a beautiful blend of the city’s historic and modern elements. It’s a breathtaking sight that truly captures Prague’s charm.
We made our way to Old Town Square, where KJ stopped by a CD and record shop. He seemed to feel better while inside, and I was relieved. However, once we left the shop, the cold hit him again, and he complained of back pain and feeling chilled.
Even though we had three hours before our train, I decided to head to the station. Being indoors would shelter him from the cold and wind. I took him to a café, ordered some food and a hot drink, and while he felt slightly better, he was still unwell.
KJ mentioned that his discomfort was due to constipation from the night before, which had kept him up and caused pain throughout his body. I can only hope that after today's rest and the train ride to Vienna, he’ll sleep well and feel better tomorrow.
Inside Prague train station, we saw a LEGO model of the station itself. It’s a detailed and impressive replica, capturing the station’s architecture. The model includes tiny trains, platforms and even passengers waiting. Every little detail is crafted with precision, making it a fun stop for visitors. It’s a popular spot for photos, especially for LEGO fans. If you're passing through the station, don’t miss this unique attraction.
We traveled from Prague to Vienna Central Station and paid a total of €40.40 (SGD$56.56) for two people in Business Class. Each ticket was €19.10 (SGD$26.74), with an upgrade to Business Class costing €18.30 (SGD$25.62) per person, plus an additional service fee of €3 (SGD$4.20). In total, our fare for two people came to €40.40 (SGD$56.56). The total journey for this train ride is around 4 hours and 43 minutes. We manage to get cheap train tickets by booking online a few months ahead before our trip.
I was really looking forward to the train ride but it was a bit disappointing. Our train car was pulled away, and they squeeze all the business class together. So there are 4 persons in a business class cabinet. Both me and KJ did not gets the window seats. The sky turn dark really fast and it was totally darkness at 4 something. The train was late to depart. So we get something like half an hour of outside view before there is no view at all.
The old couple beside us alighted at Brno Station, leaving with the whole compartment to ourself. This is when we started filming the compartment without feeling awkward. However, I did not take pictures of all the food we have eaten on the train. For more details on the train's interior, check out our YouTube video!

We arrived at Vienna at 9:30pm, everything was closed except for a supermarket at the train station. We headed to our hotel which is very near the train station.
