Where to go on Friday night in Singapore?

The cost of yesterday Friday night was our dinner and the bubble tea, and we watched 2 shows.

We meetup at Funan Mall after work and reach Funan Mall at around 6:30pm. Inside Funan Mall, you can find the lift to take you up to Funan Mall roof top. From there, you will find an urban garden where you can explore.

After the visit to the Urban Garden at Funan Mall roof top, we proceed to eat our dinner in the Kopitiam Food Court in Funan Mall. After dinner, we brought bubble tea and drink while walking from Funan Mall to Parliament Place (It is a road name). Along Parliament Place, we enjoy the view of the beautiful architecture and landscape of Parliament of Singapore and The Art House.

We soon found ourself at walking along the Padang into the Esplanade Park.

Walk along Esplanade Park towards the Esplanade Concert Hall. Outside the Concert Hall, you will find Esplanade Outdoor Stage. On most Friday nights, there will be free performance at the Outdoor Stage.

Do check the performance timing on the website. Yesterday, there was performance at 6:30pm, 8pm and 9:30pm. We manage to catch the 8pm concert.

After the performance, we walked along the riverside until we reach The Float @ Marina Bay Grandstand. During normal days, you can walk through the Grandstand to reach the Helix Bridge. However, due to the preparation for National Day in August,  we realised that the Grandstand was  hoarded up. If this happen, you will have to take an alternative route and walk around The Float @ Marina Bay Grandstand which we did.

Walk along the Helix Bridge and enjoy the night view. Upon reaching the Marina Sand area, keeping walking along the water until you are between Louis Vuitton and the Apple Store. We sat on the Event Plaza which has wooden deck flooring facing the sea and chat while wait for the Spectra Light and Water Show to start. The starting time for Friday will be on 8pm, 9pm and 10pm. If you follow the route in this post, you should be able to catch the 10pm show.
