I have shifted all the furnitures in my bedroom again. This time I am please with what I have done.

It look a lot more better and feels a lot more better. I was hestitic to move at 1st because my proposal do not look good in Sketchup. I always test out the layout in Sketchup for a few week before moving because it was difficult to move all the furniture on my own.

After shifting my furnitures to what I wanted, I am began to think that I should save some money by using back my old bed. The space for my desk look a bit tight but I do not feel it at all when working on my desk.

I am also thinking if I should remove the curtains in my room and replace one panel of the window with plants instead. It will reduce the afternoon sunlight from falling onto my desk and give me some privately at the same time. I will have to keep my laptop into a drawer instead of leaving them on my desk because I do not want the sunlight to spoilt them.

My living room is very empty now. Since I have move all KJ's stuff into his room, we hardly use the living room anymore. I am now typing in my room and my son is playing by himself in his own room. I dun think this is healthy and I feel that we should be able to do our own things in the same room. I did not realise that the way I arrange my furniture affect our habits.

I can always take my laptop to the living room just like the good old days. However, I do not like the TV to be turn on. I wish that I do not have a TV at home. Maybe when the day my TV spoilt, I will began living with a TV.

I am also trying to imagine how to arrange my living room without a TV. I realise something that I do not know previously. Most people design the whole living room around the TV. The TV will be the centre of attraction behind a feature wall and the sofa will sit right in front of the TV. My living room has a dinner table which sit in a position that we can watch TV and eat at the same time. I used to dream that even my kitchen faces the TV. I can cook and watch TV at the same time.

Now I am thinking of removing my TV. Suddenly I began to ask myself, what do I want to do in the living room? What kind of feeling do I want to create?

If I wanted to create a space when me and KJ can do our own things in a room, it will mean that all his toys, all my books and computers will all be in the living room. If my guest come to my place, it will be a big mess. And I do not like it when anyone see my collection of books.

Will it be a good idea just to make it a space for entertaining purpose only? That will mean we will not be spending a lot of time in that space. It will also mean that the TV will still be there.

OK, let me think about it first since our TV is not going to be spoilt yet.
